My Cottage Garden at Night and Empty Nest Syndrome!!

In my last post, I shared My Little Whimsical Cottage Garden.

Now I want to share how my little back yard looks all lit up at night with the use of Dollar Tree Solar Lights and a Bug Light Bulb used in my lantern.
The light bulb was also bought at Dollar Tree!

This is the left side of the yard when you walk out the back door......

The Bug Light Bulb in the lantern is yellow and casts a dimmer light than a regular white light bulb which actually causes the solar lights to look brighter!

Looking toward the back of the yard.....

And the right side of the yard.......

Now back to the left side, you can see that I have several Dollar Tree solar lights through out the yard......

I have also placed them in pots.....

And I have several spotlight rocks that I bought last year at Dollar Tree shining on some of my Garden Art.......

Like my Doggie Angel.....

This is one of 2 solar Butterflies that we have had for several years.

They change colors......

Moving over to the center of the yard.....

I have several solar lights in the pots here in this garden vignette.......

I have a larger solar spot light that I bought at Big Lots last year shining on this Angel

And the other solar Butterfly.....

And there is the lantern which comes on by timer.

And now on to my Morning Doves which built a nest in one of my hanging pots in the Patio......

The 2 parent birds in the pot with the Babies......

The 2 parents were never far from the nest....

One of the Babies!

And then one evening the Babies were not in the nest!!!!!

Here is one Baby and one Parent Bird......

Sorry this is dark but it was in the late evening when they flew the coop!!!

Here are the 2 Babies sitting on my blue wicker chair in the yard!!

And the next morning, the whole family!!!!!

Okay, that is too funny!!

And that has now left me with Empty Nest Syndrome!!!!!

I must admit that they were very neat Birds with very little Bird Poop all over the place!!!

So that little Bird Family has left and now I have another moving in!!!!

Yes, can you beleive it!!!

They are building a nest in one of my birdhouses!!

They are Black Capped Chickadees!!!!!

Unbelievable!!!

And I want to show you what my Rhododendren in my front yard looked like in full bloom!!

I can not remember it having this much Blooms on it EVER!!!

It is just about done blooming now as many of the Blooms have now fallen off especially with the rain that we have been having.....

Joe and I have been enjoying our vacation, not doing much of anything but relaxing .......
