The travel bug, we’re pleased to say, doesn’t often necessitate a journey to the earth’s far corners in order to be assuaged. Just 640 miles from the coast of North Carolina (and a mere 2 hour flight from the shores of New York City), Bermuda can do the job really nicely, thank you. A handful of languid days on the island—amidst its preposterously turquoise waters, impossibly lush vegetation, and disarmingly cheerful locals—may well really feel a globe away its exuberant colour and leisurely pace supplying renewal and transcendence—and cinematic beauty in most every corner.
